The God who created the universe and sustains all things is aware of your suffering. Know that you are not alone. As surely as we moved from life into death through the first Adam, our God provided a way from death into life through our Lord Jesus Christ. This second, more perfect Adam is the image of the invisible God. Where the first Adam was given dominion over the earth, our Lord was given dominion over all things because He was before all things. This same God who provided a way of escape for us all, even in our disobedience, will surely not forget you in times of trial. Be strong in your faith, diligent in your prayers, and meditate on God’s word, which has been provided to strengthen us in times of trouble. His word is also a reminder of His great deeds and faithfulness to His people. Meditate daily on God’s word. It is like living water for those who thirst after righteousness. Meditate daily on God’s word. It is like an oasis to the weary traveler. Meditate daily on God’s word. It will make you like a tree, like the White Oak with roots that reach deep into the earth. You will not be upended during the storm or thirst in times of drought. Meditate daily on God’s word, beloved. May God’s peace be with you.

This is a refreshing post to wake up to this morning. We often need to be reminded that God is aware of everything we are going through. But, more importantly I love the call to mediate daily on the Word. The Word is the thing that will keep us steady, focused, and able to walk in faith. Through it we gain the ability to trust God and defeat the enemy. Awesome Word!
